Sustainability

Certified where it can be certified. Honest where it cannot.

We supply co-processed gasoline, diesel and Jet A-1 as separate certified components under KZR INiG and RED — pool-compatible with the conventional specification and documented to a standard that satisfies a compliance auditor.

The proposition

A fuel that handles as conventional and counts as sustainable.

Co-processing introduces a biogenic feedstock into the refinery process alongside fossil feed. The resulting fuel is chemically indistinguishable from its conventional equivalent and meets the same specification — EN 228, EN 590, ASTM D1655 and DEF STAN 91-091.

The biogenic content is then allocated to specific consignments by mass balance, and that allocation is certified. Our co-processed streams derive from stabilised end-of-life-tyre pyrolysis oil — a waste-derived feedstock rather than a food or feed crop.

For a buyer under a blending mandate, this is a commercial alternative to procuring FAME, HVO or SAF as a separate physical product. No separate storage, no separate handling, no blend compatibility exercise, and no acceptance question about the physical fuel — because the physical fuel is on specification.

Where this is not a substitute. Co-processed Jet A-1 remains subject to aviation acceptance in the relevant jurisdiction and under the relevant offtake framework. We will tell you where a mandate requires a pathway that co-processing does not satisfy, rather than let you discover it at audit.

Documentation

Five documents. Every cargo.

A certification is only worth what the paperwork proves. This is what accompanies every certified sustainable consignment.

Proof of Sustainability

The PoS/SD issued under the KZR INiG or RED scheme, evidencing that the biogenic content originates from certified sustainable feedstock traceable to origin.

Biogenic share (x_bio)

The proportion of the consignment attributable to biogenic feedstock, stated numerically and allocated by mass balance — energy-based for Jet A-1.

GHG value

The greenhouse gas emission value for the certified portion, calculated under the scheme methodology and reportable directly into the buyer's compliance return.

Mass balance allocation

The accounting record linking certified input to certified output over the balance period, demonstrating that no more sustainable volume is sold than was produced.

Certificate of Quality

The standard CoQ against the conventional product specification — because the physical fuel must still pass on its own terms, certification aside.

Aviation chain of custody

For jet fuel, supply is available under IATA AFSMA Ed. 5.1 (July 2023), including its SAF chain-of-custody, mass-balance and PoS documentation provisions.

Beyond fuels

Lower-carbon options across the rest of the book.

Certification is the sharp end, but several other lines carry a materially lower footprint than their conventional alternative.

Re-refined base oils

Group I+ and Group II equivalents from certified re-refiners — a circular-economy alternative to virgin stock at the same performance requirement.

Crumb rubber modified bitumen

CRMB 50, 55 and 60 use recycled tyre rubber and extend pavement life by up to five times — less material, less often, across the asset lifetime.

INNOBETON 21®

A rolled concrete polymer fabric using a fraction of the cement of an equivalent poured section, installed without a batching plant on site.

Wood pellet biofuel

Conifer wood pellets for industrial and residential biomass heating and co-firing,

Battery-chain metals

Nickel, cobalt, lithium and copper into the electrification supply chain, with assay and provenance documentation at every step.

Low-cadmium phosphate

Apatite concentrate and phosphate fertiliser grades meeting EU cadmium limits, with heavy metals reported per shipment.

Straight answer

What we do not claim.

We trade hydrocarbons. The majority of what we move is fossil, and describing that as anything else would not survive contact with a serious counterparty.

What we do claim is narrower and verifiable: where a certified sustainable stream exists and can be documented to audit standard, we supply it and hand over the evidence. Where it does not exist yet — hydrogen is the current example — we say the desk is in development rather than quoting a molecule we cannot reliably deliver.

Our commitment is supply that is affordable, reliable and progressively cleaner. Each of those three words is doing work, and we would rather be held to all three than market the last one alone.

Enquiries

Every enquiry is answered by a trader.

Send the product, quantity, delivery basis, destination and timing. We revert with availability, an indication and the documentation that accompanies it. Specifications are released once we know who we are speaking with.
